Tonight at 7 p.m. in Cambria Heights, State Senator Leroy Comrie is teaming up with the Access-A-Ride Reform Group for a know-your-rights forum.
AAARG! (catchy, isn’t it?) is an advocacy and legal services organization that assists New Yorkers with disabilities who use the paratransit system.
The workshop tonight will feature reps from the city’s Department of the Aging, New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and the Center for Independence of the Disabled.
Attendees can hear not only what these orgs are doing to improve paratransit, but also share their often-frustrating experiences with the presenters.
The event will take place at the Emblem Health Neighborhood Care Facility at 206-20 Linden Boulevard.
