Public Advocate Letitia James has released her annual worst landlords watch list, which includes the 10 worst buildings in Queens.

By worse, we mean these buildings have the most housing code violations.

Two buildings in southeast Queens appear on this list, with a staggering number of violations. In fact, the worst building in Queens is right here in Jamaica Hills.

Topping the list is 87-40 165th Street, which has a whopping 383 HPD violations. That’s 139 more than the next worse building. The list names Hillside House Management as the head officer of the building.

Tenth on the list is 127-04 135th Avenue in South Ozone Park, which is listed with 128 HPD violations. Its head officer is Alfonso Pistone.

“No New Yorker should be subjected to live in a hazardous home, yet bad landlords in our city are forcing too many tenants to live in dangerous and indecent conditions,” James says.
