Tattooed creep wanted for public exposure

Authorities say that on Thursday, September 8, a 38-year-old woman was sitting on the train when it just left the Noel Road and West Road subway station.

She was sitting across from a man who exposed himself and began to masturbate. He then got off at the Broad Channel subway stop and left.

He was last seen wearing a green baseball hat, blue jeans and had a picture of a cross tattoo on his left arm.

Springfield Gardens pedestrian killed after crash

A family is in mourning after a collision that killed a pedestrian in Springfield Gardens.

Police say 54-year-old Dian Mclean was found by authorities at the intersection of Rockaway Boulevard and 144th Terrace on Monday, September 19. She was taken by EMS to Jamaica Hospital, where she was in serious condition.

Mclean was later transferred to Cornell Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries on September 29.

After a preliminary investigation, police say that a 65-year-old man was driving a 2002 GMC in the middle lane when he struck Mclean, who was crossing the street. The driver remained at the scene of the collision.

Police have made no arrests so far, and an investigation is being conducted by the NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad.

Police search for suspects behind deli shooting

It’s a frightening scenario for any store owner.

Authorities say that on Saturday, September 24, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot inside 111-08 Merrick Boulevard, which is Sunshine Deli.

When officers arrived, they found 46-year-old Mamadou Diallo, a Jamaica resident, unconscious with a gunshot wound to his head.

EMS arrived and declared him dead at the scene.

After a brief investigation, police are now asking the public to help find the two suspects connected to the homicide. The two men in hoodies can be seen in the video above.

Battle of the Badges Cook-off at Resorts World

ResortsWorldCasino Will it be New York’s Finest or New York’s Bravest?

The FDNY and NYPD are squaring off in the “Battle of the Badges” cook-off on Sunday, September 18 from noon to 5 p.m. at Resorts World Casino.

The competition is part of the 2nd Annual Queens South Community Day. Thousands of people are expected to attend throughout the day.

More than 20 participants from three agencies are expected to participate in the cook-off. It will be hosted by Ray Cooney, the star of the hit television show Firehouse Kitchen and a retired firefighter.

Judges including Queens Deputy Borough President Melva Miller, Jamaica YMCA Executive Director Cedric Dew and singer and entertainer George Lamond.

Grand prizers for the winners include a trophy, a $500 gift card and additional prizes for second and third-place winners.

In addition to the cook-off, the community day will feature food, including a pizza truck, ice cream truck, cotton candy machine and a popcorn machine. Kids can play carnival games, get their faces painted, jump in a bouncy house and exercise with rock climbing.

Car collision kills 23-year-old woman

Police_Line_Crime_Scene_2498847226-300x200-1A car crash in the early morning hours of September 11 led to the death of 23-year-old Desray Leroy of Jamaica.

Police say that the collision happened at the intersection of 120th Street and Linden Boulevard in South Ozone Park.

53-year-old Ray Mouton of Ozone Park has been charged with aggravated driving without a license.

Mouton, driving a 1993 Honda Civic, crashed into a 2004 Audi A6, driven by a 25-year-old man and several of his friends.

The collision sent the driver to Elmhurst Hospital, where he is now in critical condition.

EMS also took three passengers in the Audi, ages 20, 22 and 23, to New York Hospital. They are in stable condition.

Another two passengers in the Audi, a 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, were taken to Jamaica Hospital. They are also in stable condition.

Leroy was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where she had head trauma and was pronounced dead on arrival.

The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is now investigating the crash.
