Police search for suspects behind deli shooting

It’s a frightening scenario for any store owner.

Authorities say that on Saturday, September 24, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot inside 111-08 Merrick Boulevard, which is Sunshine Deli.

When officers arrived, they found 46-year-old Mamadou Diallo, a Jamaica resident, unconscious with a gunshot wound to his head.

EMS arrived and declared him dead at the scene.

After a brief investigation, police are now asking the public to help find the two suspects connected to the homicide. The two men in hoodies can be seen in the video above.
