Car collision kills 23-year-old woman

Police_Line_Crime_Scene_2498847226-300x200-1A car crash in the early morning hours of September 11 led to the death of 23-year-old Desray Leroy of Jamaica.

Police say that the collision happened at the intersection of 120th Street and Linden Boulevard in South Ozone Park.

53-year-old Ray Mouton of Ozone Park has been charged with aggravated driving without a license.

Mouton, driving a 1993 Honda Civic, crashed into a 2004 Audi A6, driven by a 25-year-old man and several of his friends.

The collision sent the driver to Elmhurst Hospital, where he is now in critical condition.

EMS also took three passengers in the Audi, ages 20, 22 and 23, to New York Hospital. They are in stable condition.

Another two passengers in the Audi, a 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, were taken to Jamaica Hospital. They are also in stable condition.

Leroy was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where she had head trauma and was pronounced dead on arrival.

The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is now investigating the crash.
