Police are investigating a deadly assault that killed a 37-year-old man in Richmond Hill.
Authorities say that on Sunday, August 14, at approximately 2 a.m., police responded to a 911 call about an assault in progress at 95-77 113rd Street.
When police arrived, they found the man unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to his head and body.
They also found a 68-year-old woman with cuts to her head and body as well.
When EMS arrived, the male victim was declared dead at the scene. The woman was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where she is in stable condition.
Police have reported no arrests and an investigation is ongoing.
