Voting is now underway for participatory budgeting in District 27.
Residents ages 11 and up in the neighborhoods of Jamaica, St. Albans, Hollis, Cambria Heights, Queens Village, Addisleigh Park and Springfield Gardens are eligible to vote.
You can choose your favorite projects on the ballot. The top vote-getters are funded up to $1 million.
Projects, which were crafted by community members, including football field house upgrades, gymnasium upgrades and PA system upgrades at Campus Magnet, mobile stem labs and auditorium upgrades at schools and basketball court upgrades at Haggerty Park.
